I’m a little late in posting this since we had our Italian-themed dinner night on September 21st. This is the 2nd themed “game night” we’ve done. The first being Mexican – and now Italian. I don’t call them “game nights” anymore since we get to where we play fewer and fewer games. LOL
Unfortunately for some reason, I felt like crap this night and didn’t take near the amount of pictures I wanted to. I had wanted to get pictures of both tables we had set up for games when we were all actually playing cards, but I didn’t. 🙁
Before dinner pictures. We’re waiting on the food to get ready. My cousin Daniel was able to visit this time (lives in Missouri).
They looked thrilled. LOL Our themed dinners are casual – so I tell everyone to bring pajamas or something they’d wear around the house.
Here are the pictures of all the food everyone brought.
You’d think with us starting with this much alcohol, we wouldn’t need to make a run for more.
But they still had to get more. They thought they’d just have “a couple” and that’s it. LOL Aunt Joyce, Desiree, and I stayed behind (this is when I was feeling really bad – bleh).
And something didn’t taste so well.
Most everyone left shortly after midnight. It just so happens that September 22nd was the first day of fall, so we all stood or sat out on the deck enjoying the nice cool air, counting down the seconds to the first official day of fall. 🙂
Before everyone left, they’d pretty much decided on the next theme: bacon! And in the planning process, we’ve decided to start this one a little earlier than the normal 6pm time. Since it’s the weekend before Halloween, we’ve also decided to incorporate pumpkin carving and painting into this one. I’ve never carved a pumpkin before, so it should be interesting.
